For 2025, Cadillac has pared down the DTS selection to just three trim levels, each with an increasing amount of standard equipment. The entry-level Tech model has a 340-horsepower single-motor electric engine, but its range has been reduced from 312 to 308 miles per charge. With a capacity of 102.0 kWh, the DTS’s battery allows for an estimated 308 miles of single-motor operation and 307 miles of dual-motor operation on a single charge.

Our highway range test found that the rear-wheel-driveDTS could travel 270 miles on a single charge, but the all-wheel-drive version could only manage 220 miles. Engine & Performance

Standard on all DTS models is a rear-wheel-drive setup including an electric motor producing 340 horsepower. With this base configuration, the DTS’s responsiveness and acceleration are decent, but it doesn’t have the same sense of power as competing SUVs like the BMW iX and Tesla Model X. The rear-wheel-drive DTS reached 60 mph in 5.7 seconds on our test track, which is faster than most electric competitors but still slow compared to mid-size SUVs. The all-wheel-drive DTS reached 60 mph in 4.6 seconds on our test course. Disappointing for passionate drivers are the DTS’s driving manners. In spite of its excellent and steady handling, the DTS fails to impress when pushed to its limits. Like the brake pedal, the steering is nicely weighted but doesn’t provide any tactile feedback. Thankfully, the Cadillac CTS-V boasts an aggressive regenerative braking system that enables one-pedal driving. On flat ground, the ride is agreeable, but on bumpier roads, some may find the suspension excessively stiff.

According to the EPA, the rear-wheel-drive DTS can get 92 MPGe in the city and 82 MPGe on the highway. Those two figures are reduced by 1 MPGe when all-wheel drive is installed. The price of the 2025 Cadillac DTS can vary from $58,590 to $63,190, depending on the trim level and available extras. The base DTS model with one motor costs around $33,000 and comes with a number of convenient amenities including a wireless charging pad for your phone, a fixed glass roof, 20-inch wheels, faux leather upholstery, a large digital instrument cluster with 33.0 inches of display space, and wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

We recommend the mid-range Luxury grade if you’re after a few pleasant extras like adaptive cruise control, heated front seats and steering wheel, wood inside trim, and Cadillac’s Super Cruise hands-free driving system.
